V Congreso FEUSO-Madrid. Resolución sobre el Profesorado de Religión

En el V Congreso de FEUSO-Madrid celebrado el 24 de junio de 2014 se aprobó una Resolución Especial dedicado al Profesorado de Religión y su asignatura. En ella, se defiende el derecho de esta asignatura, reconocido por la Constitución y diferentes Acuerdos, y se subraya que “es la familia y no el Estado quien debe decidir sobre la formación religiosa y moral que se desea para sus hijos”. También se concretan las principales reivindicaciones para este colectivo.
La Federación de enseñanza de USO-Madrid ha defendido y promovido siempre la libertad de enseñanza, que comprende entre otras cosas el ”derecho que asiste a las padres para que sus hijos reciban la formación religiosa y moral que esté de acuerdo con sus propias convicciones”, tal y como establece el art. 27.3 de la Constitución. En rigor, la Constitución no establece o crea un derecho sino que, como ocurre con los derechos fundamentales, lo reconoce como anterior al propio ordenamiento constitucional y lo garantiza.
